Stephanie Eti Hadad

Stephanie Hadad, a first-generation American born in Philadelphia, PA (1989), comes from an Israeli-Tunisian-Libyan heritage. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Florida’s New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida.

Stephanie is an autobiographical artist who delves deeply into the conscious ideas surrounding her role within domestic female culture, a role continually redefined by her lived experiences. Through study, research, and a personal exploration of identity and cultural context, Hadad blends political insight with poetic expression. Her work encompasses a wide and often unconventional range of media, including installation, sculpture, video, photography, and works on paper.
