Fernanda Froes

Fernanda Froes is a Brazilian-born, Miami-based artist whose work explores ecology, memory, and historical natural pigments such as brazilwood, indigo, and mangrove. Working across painting, fiber, and printmaking, she connects material research with the cultural and environmental heritage of the Americas.

Her recent exhibitions include Utopia Botânica at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden Museum, presentations at the Embassy of Brazil in Paris for the Brazil–France Season 2025, at Espace Krajcberg during Paris Design Week, at Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, and at Untitled Miami 2025.

Since February 2026, she has been part of Collective 62. Froes is a recipient of the MIA Grant 2024 and 2025, and The Ellies Creative Award 2025 by Oolite Arts.
